Review by hotel critic
As a European traveler with a penchant for unique lodgings, I recently visited the Stonebridge Inn for a city break. the location was its only saving grace, offering easy access to Aspen Snowmass and its array of outdoor activities. the dated hotel felt more like a motel on the inside, lacking modern amenities like AC and comfortable beds. Housekeeping services were minimal, which left much to be desired. On the positive side, the hot tub was a welcoming retreat after a day of skiing, and two standout staff members, Aiden and the dedicated young driver from Texas, provided exceptional service. However, the lack of hot water in the shower was a major disappointment, impacting the overall experience for myself and my sons. the absence of a functional bar on certain evenings added to the underwhelming stay. While Stonebridge Inn may cater to artists and outdoor enthusiasts, the overall ambiance and comfort level fell short of expectations. For travelers seeking a mountain retreat with basic amenities and charming staff, this hotel may suffice. However, for those accustomed to a higher standard of accommodation and service, it may not meet your needs.
